In this intermediate class we will focus on reproducing uniform shapes such as bowls and tumblers. We will also focus on different shaping techniques, spouts and lid design.

More attention will be given to decorating techniques such as paper resist, mishima and sgraffito.
This class is best suited for those who have prior experience throwing.

Classes are small in size (4/5 people) which allows students to accelerate faster with more one on one instruction. The first five weeks will consist of creating and trimming, followed by a glazing and decorating week 6. The course will include 10 lbs of clay and tools. Please note a $50 deposit is required to reserve your spot, the balance of $300 is payable on the first week of class.
