Pottery Classes
Studio Hestia offers pottery and ceramics classes in NDG, Montreal, including wheel-throwing and handbuilding courses for beginners and intermediate students. Classes are small in size (usually 4-5 people,) allowing for more one-on-one instruction and faster learning. The studio is a 17 minute walk from Vendome Metro, or accessible by bus.
The studio is operated by Rebecca Ramsey, who has been teaching ceramics for the last eight years. She has a BFA from Emily Carr University of Art and Design and an MFA in Sculpture and Ceramics from Concordia. Aside from running the studio, she is also part of the Ceramics Faculty at Concordia University, Montreal.
She has a student centered approach to teaching and is excited to share her knowledge with beginner and intermediate students.
